What do I need hosting for?
'hosting of web files' All website layouts, images, and the website files are all held on Web servers. Every time you type in a domain name/web address you are contacting a webserver and downloading files off that server to make up the webpage. If you do not have hosting then you will have nowhere to store these files and therfore your files can not be available for users to download. Hosting is essential.
What do I need a domain name/web address for?
A domain name is the equivalent to an I.P. address. This is a unique 'serial number' for each and every website. When you type in a domain name/web address you are typing in the I.P. number (we use domain names as they are easier to remember). Every website has their own unique address therefore so does yours. A domain name is essential.
Where do I get these two essentials?
MM Designs Group provides these services automatically for free if we are doing a project with you e.g. web site design, Graphic design etc. However if we are not providing any other service for you there is a annual fee for hosting and domain name registration. Hosting is on Linux Redhat servers, the fastest and most reliable servers available. Ideal for businesses who wish to operate using the internet e.g. shopping, advertising and marketing. This hosting package also contains secure servers for credit card and payment features that apply when designing shopping carts. Excellent for e-commerce businesses who wish to sell products online.
